I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
